During a recent update, I had a bunch of photo albums disappear from the weblog.

In researching it, I realized that Google had done it to me again. This time, they dropped support for the API that my weblog uses to access photos  on Google Photos.

I had to go back through the pictures from 2008 to 2015 and find the broken links, download the photos, re-upload them to the weblog, and then point the links to the new location– several hundred pictures in over 20 albums.

Bottom line:  If you’ve been digging through the archive and found a broken link to an album or a slideshow, the problem is now fixed. Sorry for the hassle.
