As Patriarch of our deer camp, I am proud to announce that a new probationary member has been added to the Shamanic Dream Team. Foxtrot Charlie will be joining us at camp starting on Sunday.

FC is a 24hourcampfire.com denizen from 2005 or thereabouts. A jaeger & soupmaker, he’s blessed to have shared hunting camps with the famous & infamous, from the swamps, to the prairies, to the the mountains, on multiple continents, even.

This trip to visit the . . . 100 Acre Wood, will mark FC’s first time afield in pursuit of whitetail deer, since 1984. He’ll be equipped with the same rifle from 39 years ago, though bearing some slight upgrades / embellishments along the way.

We plan a variety of stunts to test his mettle:

1) He will be forced to sip Scoresby on an empty stomach
2) He will have to endure one of my longer stories
3) He have endure the rigors of The Thoughtful Spot
4) . . . and other various tortures
