While I’ve been living at the farm more often, I’ve been looking for more places to eat. I’ve found a doozy, Bub’s Grill and Bar. It’s on State Route 165 between Powersville and Mount Olivet.

I’ve been there several times now with Blacksmith. It’s now his favorite spot. It’s got a great menu. It’s also the closest eats to the farm.

So far, I’ve tried the burgers, the wings, and the open-faced roast beef. All have been great. It also has a full bar and live music on weekends.

I talked to Mike Jett, the owner, who said there was going to be all-day breakfast for the Rifle Opener.
