I have spent the morning immersed in all the Facebook posts that have come in from all my lifelong friends that are less than happy with the election results. One of them particularly moved me:
I have one friend in particular who is dejected today. He got in my face last week over Obamacare and told me my angst over the premium increase was just my anger-driven white privilege talking to me. Today after reading his heart rending Facebook posts, I was especially moved. He’s right. Today is a day for healing.
I have had numerous others contact me in the days leading up to the election. I’ve had lots of phone calls, texts, and such, all admonishing me that I needed to see the light. I prayed long and hard as to what to do, and finally decided this was the best way of showing my friends that I still care:
- Crow and Mushroom Stew
- Crow Pie
- Potted Crow
Yum. I hear it tastes like chicken.
