Not Much to Report
No, I didn’t get attacked by cicadas.
No, I did not fall down the well.
I’ve been fine and fit. All is well. I’ve just been busy. The day job has been extra busy since the end of Turkey Season, but the main thing keeping me away has been moving. It’s a complicated tale, but we are in the process of pulling out of the house where I raised my contribution to the Shamanic Dream Team: Junior, Moose, and Angus. The house has been unoccupied for a few years, and it is time to leave and move on.
As a result, I have not been going to the farm on weekends. Moose and Angus have, and they took Remnar and his woman down for a camping trip. They have been busy as well, so I have not had time to get a full account.
One thing did happen on Saturday morning. I came out of the garage at the house in-town and found that we had a guest.
This is her third year visiting. She’s quite pregnant, and she likes to bed in and around our fenced backyard. We were a bit alarmed at first, because the first few times she visited, there was a fawn bawling on the other side of the fence. We finally figured out she was jumping the fence and leaving the little one so she could have quiet time to herself.
