Sunrise At Pooh Corner
Back when we first got the farm, it was about 3 months before I could get a plumber in to get water running. We used a corner of the backyard that we nicknamed Pooh Corner. I still go there in the mornings to sit on the bench we converted from the old oil tank stand to drink my coffee. Here’s a pick of it back about 12 years ago. Nothing much has changed except the little boy over on the left. That’s Angus. He’s now pushing 21 now
This past weekend, I made a rare mid-winter visit to the farm to take care of a few errands and to support Angus and Mooseboy in an attempt to go cold-weather camping. The weather wasn’t too bad for early January. Highs were in the low 50’s. It rained like the dickens Friday night, but it was clear Saturday and Sunday.
I stayed up at the house Saturday night. I was fascinated by the fog when I got up Sunday morning and went out back with my coffee.
That old fart walking through the frame is me on my way out for an early morning hike.

That video of the fog rolling in is stunning. You have a real gem of a farm there.
Thanks! I’ve been meaning to do a timelapse of the fog for ages. I’m glad you liked it.
