No, you’re right. It’s a turkey hunter’s manbag. I didn’t think I’d ever see myself doing it, but look at the alternatives left to men: The turkey hunter’s toolbox: I don’t think Kennedy or Sears will be manufacturing camo toolboxes soon. Besides, sheet metal is a bit cumbersome. On the other hand, if you take along everything the outdoor shows try to sell you, A roll-about Craftsman Mechanics chest might just do the trick. The turkey hunter’s wallet: I tried carrying the striker for my slate call once in my back pocket with disasterous consequences. Even my trucker’s wallet is somewhat wanting on space. The turkey hunter’s duffell bag: This has possibilities. Somebody give it a try and get back to me. The turkey hunter’s backpack: I’ve got a camo day pack. It works, but I was looking for something a bit less roomy. Look guys, we’re not talking about a beaded clutch purse. It’s a shoulder bag. It’s camo. It works. Besides, a man probably invented the purse, way back when, so he’s have two hands free to clutch his spear as he was running in to kill a mastodon. I say let’s take it back!!! I’m going to go to the Man Law Council with the following proposition: It is okay to carry a purse with a shoulder strap, as long as the man is engaged in blood sport and requires use of both hands. I think Burt Reynolds will put the motion forward, and I think we can get a second from one of the football players.
