I finally made it back down to camp.  A lot had happened.  A storm had knocked out the cameras and the weather station about 3 weeks ago.  In the meanwhile, the hay dude had come and gone.  I really did not have all that many chores to do.  The surgeon wants me to lay off lifting more than 10 lbs for another week. He saw me on Wednesday, and reiterated that he’s fairly confident they got everything.  I’ll know for sure this coming week.

Saturday AM, I made it out with a cup of coffee to watch the sunrise.  Yes, indeed. I would give my left nut to keep watching sunrises like that.
