Over the weekend, we celebrated our 20th Anniversary at the farm. Angus, Moose, Mooselette, and KYHillChick all came down along with Remnar and his lovely wife, Moondance.

The highlight of the trip was going out to the Thoughtful Spot and enjoying my 20th Anniversary cup of coffee with Mooselette in attendance.  In 2001, we had just spent our first overnight at the farm.  I came out in the early dawn and decided that the view out back was worth watching.  I found a board to put across the old heating oil tank stand and crawled up.  That eventually became the thoughtful spot.

Moose, Remnar, and Angus each went squirrel hunting several times, but ended up with nothing to show for it.    They also spent some time cleaning out cedar trees that were blocking the view out of Lazy Boy.   Remnar is thinking of moving his stand over to Garbage Pit. 

My apologies for being light on stories about the formation of our deer camp, as previously promised.  However, my recent surgery ate up all my available time over the month or so.  Hopefully that’s all over, and I can spend more time here.
