Well, I see I have not written in a month. My apologies to y’all. I have been busy. It all started the weekend after my last post. Moose and his girlfriend, Sarah, came down to camp.

Saturday morning, Sarah and KYHillChick were doing breakfast dishes when all of a sudden ‘HillChick lets out this war hoop.

“You gotta tell him! You gotta tell him!” She kept repeating.

Well, it took a while for them to come out on the porch and it took a little longer for them to get around to telling me the news. It took a while for it all to sink in, and then then I noticed I was not feeling my feet, and I decided to sit down and lean up against the post for bit until the blood got back to my head.

We went on to have a wonderful weekend, out at the family campground. Sarah is a wonderful girl. Mooseboy surely picked a winner this time. As I told Sarah later. I’m not quite sure about how I feel about all the other things, but the Good Lord saw fit to visit three strong sons on me. Up until now, he had not seen fit to grant me a daughter, and with Sarah, he’s making up for it.

And as for the rest of it, Here is the latest picture off the Oven-cam. I could not tell what it was at first– turkey hunter or deer hunter. I thought I might have seen a box call in its hand. However, after adjusting the color a little. It’s obvious we’ll be a blessed with a new deer hunter in camp– orange booties (and vest and hat):
